Privacy Policy
Short version: only what's needed to let you sign in is collected. No ads, no trackers, no selling data. Ever.
§01Who is responsible
This policy explains how rklab — a personal homelab operated by an individual at rklab.site — handles information when you visit this website or use the self-hosted applications under its subdomains (the “Services”).
§02What is collected
- Basic Google account info. When you choose Sign in with Google, the Services receive your name, email address, profile picture and a unique Google account identifier (scopes
openid, emailandprofile). - Technical logs. Like any web server, the reverse proxy records IP address, browser user agent, requested URL and timestamps.
- Things you create. Files, settings or other content you choose to store in a Service.
§03How it is used
- To authenticate you and decide which Services you can access.
- To keep the Services secure, troubleshoot problems and prevent abuse.
- To show your name and avatar inside the apps.
That's it. No profiling, no advertising, no analytics.
§04Google user data
Data received from Google APIs is used only to provide the sign-in features described above. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not used to train AI or machine-learning models, and not transferred to anyone else except as necessary to provide the Services, to comply with the law, or with your explicit consent.
rklab's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
§05Sharing
Your information is not sold or shared with third parties. Data lives on hardware owned and operated by rklab. Network providers (such as DNS and CDN services) may process connection metadata solely to deliver traffic. Information may be disclosed only if required by law.
§06Cookies & local storage
The Services use strictly necessary session cookies to keep you signed in. This website only stores your language preference in your browser's local storage. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
§07Retention & deletion
Account data is kept while you have access to the Services. Logs are rotated and deleted automatically, typically within 30 days. You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time by emailing renanrk.lab@gmail.com, and you can revoke rklab's access to your Google account whenever you want at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
§08Security
Reasonable measures protect your information: TLS everywhere, access controls, regular updates and backups. Still, no system on the internet — let alone one in a closet — is 100% secure.
§09Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under Brazil's LGPD or the EU's GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Just send an email to renanrk.lab@gmail.com.
§10Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and no data from them is knowingly collected.
§11Changes
This policy may change from time to time. The effective date on this page shows the latest revision.
§12Contact
