Terms of Service
Short version: this is a personal homelab. Be nice, don't break things, and don't expect enterprise-grade uptime.
§01About rklab
rklab (“rklab”, “I”, “me”) is a personal, non-commercial homelab operated by an individual. These terms cover the website rklab.site and the self-hosted applications available under its subdomains (the “Services”).
§02Access
The Services are private. Access is granted by invitation only and may be revoked at any time, for any reason, without notice. By signing in to any of the Services you agree to these terms.
§03Signing in with Google
Some Services use Google Sign-In to verify who you are. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. Your use of Google is also governed by the Google Terms of Service.
§04Acceptable use
- Don't try to access accounts or data that aren't yours.
- Don't probe, scan, overload or attack the infrastructure (unless I asked you to).
- Don't use the Services for anything illegal, abusive or spammy.
- Don't upload content you have no right to share.
§05Availability
The Services run on hardware sitting in a closet. They may be slow, change, break or disappear at any moment — power outages, upgrades and curiosity included. No uptime is promised.
§06Your content
Anything you store in the Services remains yours. Please keep your own backups; I try to keep mine, but there are no guarantees.
§07No warranty
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
§08Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, rklab is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Services.
§09Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date on this page shows the latest revision. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the new terms.
